La Asociación Valenciana de Cerámica AVEC-GREMIO (AVEC-GREMIO) was born 20^th of April 1977, this association became from " Unión Sindical de Empresarios de la Cerámica y el Vidrio"

The activity of de Association had at the beginning the target of the defence of the general interests of Ceramics Sector.

In fact, at the beginning, AVEC-GREMIO was working for wages agreements, taxes...

AVEC-GREMIO was already well considerated in official organisms and had already got representation in Chamber of Commerce, and several International Trade Fairs Committees

In the following years the company has been enlarging its services:

Labour Advice, Reprography, Defence against unpaid orders, Registration of slow payers, etc

And with the time this Association is progressive being present in the other fields offering the associates different and assorted services to the associates

At the beginning of the 90´s, AVEC-GREMIO intensify the collaboration offered, in domestic and international markets, with other entities related with Ceramics Sector, and start offering the first formation activities.

Later on the associates services have been enlarging with the first activities in business collaboration:

Promotions of Export Partnerships, International Professional buyers Data base, Pioneer CD-Room Catalogue with ceramics products...

About the international activities AVEC-GREMIO was part of the Europe Association CERAMIE-UNIE, and start contacting other associations in the Ceramics Sector in France and Italy, with the special mention of AVEC-GREMIO participation in the project FORCE, about the formation needs of the sector in the European Union. Lately is important to remark AVEC-GREMIO participation in the project AMPHORA with other Ceramics companies in France and Germany.

This grows up Association activity with the illusion for having one place to promote ceramics with an infrastructure good enough. Gave at that moment the idea of a new project, today is already real, the new AVEC-GREMIO building, Centro de Servicios y Promoción de la Cerámica Valenciana, with a permanent show-room with ceramic and porcelain products in more than 1500 m². This showroom is opening all year for professional buyers. To conclude this stage AVEC-GREMIOAT will try to reach the precedence of "La Confederación Española del Vidrio y la Cerámica"
